Awaké Humanitarian Foundation is a social enterprise headed by members of the Abdulkadir Family. We provide a free service connecting those who wish to give, be that monetary or otherwise, to those in need.

Started in 2020, Our mission is to use our platform to spread awareness and support our communities, we provide aid to a wide range of people, including the eld erly, children in orphanages, poor families, as well as the mentally and physically challenged.

As a family of 12 children, our parents instilled in us a strong desire to share and care for each other from an early age. We’ve spent more than half our lives apart from each other due to age gaps, boarding schools and universities in different parts of the world, yet our parents’ priority in life was to ensure regardless of the distance between us, we still supported each other, upheld our beliefs and tried to leave a positive impact on the world.

Awaké Foundation started off as a simple pact between siblings to donate a portion of their salaries or allowances monthly to provide for those in less fortunate circumstances. “Every little act matters” came from the initial idea to do as much as possible to leave a positive impact on the world, but to never disregard the little acts of kindness that takes very little from us, but could mean the world to the less fortunate.

These acts are the most important to our goal, and as we have connected with so many people all over the world, we aim to provide an information hub connecting potential donors with charitable causes.Hum
